Senior HR Manager Requisition ID: 2025-65152 Category: Human Resources Job Location: US-MA-Boston Property: Boston Growth - Highgate Hotels Overview The Senior Human Resources Manager is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources with various HR functions. This role includes filling hourly positions promptly, ensuring accurate paperwork, enforcing company policies, and supporting benefits and workers' compensation duties. Responsibilities Administer insurance benefits, explain coverage, assist with enrollment, and answer related questions. Compile review lists, turnover reports, and wage surveys; distribute as needed. Enter payroll data, conduct prescreening interviews, and respond to unemployment claims. Maintain logs for hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and leaves of absence. Audit payroll hours for benefit eligibility and monitor workers' compensation claims. Provide information on 401K, vacation, and other benefits. Manage employee requests for complimentary rooms and process terminations. Coordinate recruitment advertising and participate in hotel orientation programs. Assist with employee events, special projects, and maintain relevant logs. Ensure compliance with HR policies and participate in committees and training. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a hotel or related industry. Previous supervisory experience preferred. College coursework in a related field is helpful. High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to work long hours and handle physical demands. Excellent communication skills, friendly demeanor, and ability to multitask. Participation in hotel meetings, trainings, and coverage as required. Maintain personal grooming standards and confidentiality.
