Position at SBM ManagementSBM Management is hiring aDescriptionPosition at SBM ManagementSBM Management is hiring a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist will responsible for administering policies and procedures relating to all phases of human resources activity.ResponsibilitiesMaintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions; ensure organizational policies, procedures, and reporting are in complianceRecruit, interview, test and select employees to fill vacant positionsPlan and conduct new employee orientationMaintain records of personnel transactions: hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and employee statistics for government reportingAssist in daily benefits administration to include enrollments, terminations, changes, employee inquiries and monthly reportsHandle leave administration for designated sitesAddresses employees' concerns, union grievances and perform all necessary investigations with recommendations for disciplinary action of violation of any company policies.Advise management on appropriate resolutions for employer relations issuesRespond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programsPrepare employee separation notices and related documentation; conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separationsProvide monthly departmental reportsSome travel may be required for this positionQualificationsAbility to speak effectively in front of groups of customers or employeesKnowledge of HRIS Human Resource systems, Excel Spreadsheets and Word Processing softwareUnion Experience is a plusCompensation: $75,000 - $80,000 per yearShift: Business hoursSBM Management Services, LP and its affiliates are proud to be equal opportunity workplaces.
