OverviewJoin our dynamic Business Unit Strategy team at Dell Technologies. As a Strategy and Research Consultant, you will work with senior leadership to identify emerging opportunities, assess competitive landscapes, and develop actionable strategies that influence the direction of our business. This role is based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts or Round Rock, Texas.What You’ll AchieveAs a Strategic Business Development Consultant, you will build a perspective for the Business Unit on market, customer, and industry trends that disrupt our business and the world. You will partner with executives and technologists to set the agenda on these topics, prioritize the most important topics to the business, and accelerate outcomes.We are looking for strategic thinkers who connect the dots across markets and technologies, communicate clearly and influence others, and lead through collaboration. Ideal candidates are curious, agile learners with a passion for innovation and a strong drive for results in dynamic, cross-functional environments.ResponsibilitiesTackle complex, ambiguous business and technology challenges with structured thinking and creative problem-solvingLead strategic research initiatives in emerging technologies such as AI/ML, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructureTranslate market and competitive intelligence into actionable business strategies and operational plansDevelop business cases for new growth areas, including product innovation, partnerships, and M&A opportunitiesCollaborate cross-functionally with product, technologists, engineering, marketing, and finance teams to align strategic prioritiesEssential Requirements10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, product development, or business research within the technology sectorDeep understanding of enterprise technology domains such as infrastructure, software, data platforms, and AI/MLProven ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly to executive audiencesStrong analytical skills with experience in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologiesDemonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignmentDesirable RequirementsAdvanced degrees in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldFamiliarity with enterprise IT ecosystems and emerging tech trends (e.g., edge computing, data security, cloud-native architecture)CompensationDell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
