As one of the largest EMPLOYEE-OWNED electrical contractors in the United States, you will have the unique benefit of being a shareholder at a company that is experiencing tremendous growth and success.Your Next OpportunityThe Integration Field Engineer is an engineering management position responsible for providing technical engineering oversight and design team management for engineering projects for which they are assigned. This technical management role is responsible for financial, resource allocation, logistic and technical leadership of projects and has the capability to mentor and train staff under their supervision. Responsibilities Design and develop intra-switchgear and inter-equipment control systems Design and develop site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO) Conduct vendor coordination and submittal review and factory witness tests to ensure equipment is produced to spec and conforms with all design-build requirements Design and develop safety mechanical, electrical, and/or electromechanical interlock systems Design and develop system-wide automation systems using PLC or RTAC style industrial controllers Develop systems such as system overload prevention, multi-purpose busway interlocks, load management systems, generator plant load curtailment, start/load controls including selective load pickup and load shed schemes Design and develop relay protection and logic settings (e.g., MTM transfer schemes) using mirrored bit communication or hardwire Design and develop relay IEC61850-based protection and control logics Provide power system analysis including failure analysis, event analysis, and metering/triggering systems as needed Act as Engineer of Record for projects within responsibility Perform other duties as assigned based on the role within the business unit What You Bring to Us Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architectural engineering, or construction sciences from an accredited institution Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of engineering experience Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required Field experience is strongly required Education and experience can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience Competencies Leadership - Ability to lead a diverse team to achieve a goal Communication - Fluency in oral and written formats Teamwork - Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group What You'll Need to Be Successful Power systems engineer with a PE license and 7–15 years of experience in system design; skilled in relay protection, PLC programming, system-level automation, and electrical interlocks/SOO design Fluency with Building Codes and Local Codes in project locales Proficient with computer use and Microsoft Office; Oracle familiarity Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities Ability to work under time pressure with a positive attitude Effective oral and written communication skills Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and partners TravelUp to 25% (local field visits not included) Working Conditions General work environment: sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, lifting, bending; primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions Noise level is typically low to medium; may be loud on a job site Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs ADA and applicable state law compliance, including reasonable accommodations for qualified disabled applicants and employees Rosendin Electric is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
