You will have the opportunity to lead, develop and deliver projects of varying sizes and complexity, initiate and maintain client contact and assist the team in winning the work.As a Chicago Airfield Discipline Leader, activities include serving on large, complex multidiscipline projects and typically directing/mentoring discipline associates and Project Managers in professional, technical, and operational best practices. You will independently direct the development and evaluation of engineering reports and plans and specification criteria for a variety of projects, as well as supervise engineering design development, design detailing, code analysis, construction document production, construction administration, coordination with project teams, client communication, proposal coordination, marketing, presentations, and management of other discipline-related activities. If you are ready to make an impact, we welcome you!Minimum Qualifications:Bachelors or Masters of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or other professionally recognized equivalent disciplines from an accredited ABET university10+ years of experience with 5+ years in Civil design of airport-related facilities at medium and/or large hub airportsIllinois PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of startingPrevious project management and team leader experienceAbility to travel across the region to existing/potential Airport ClientsMust have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving recordMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) required for use in completing an assignmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience managing and mentoring engineering staffExperience working on General Engineering Consultant (GEC) contracts or as a senior member of a GEC teamExperience in Civil design of airport-related facilities at medium and/or large hub airportsProven ability and desire in the areas of marketing, business development, quality management and associate developmentWorking knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D #J-18808-Ljbffr
