You will leverage your extensive expertise in software, applications, technical processes, and product management to oversee multiple complex projects and initiatives. In this role, you will serve as the primary decision-maker for your teams, promoting innovation and ensuring successful solution delivery.Job responsibilitiesLeads technology and process implementations to achieve functional technology objectivesDelivers solutions leveraging modern technologies including cloud-backed APIs and microservices utilizing distributed database technologiesPossess a strong talent assessment and talent management backgroundMakes decisions that influence teams/' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and proceduresCarries governance accountability for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership, maintainability, and portfolio operationsDelivers technical solutions that can be leveraged across multiple businesses and domainsInfluences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teamsChampions the firm/'s culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skillsFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience. In addition, 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage, anticipate and solve complex technical items within your domain of expertiseDeep expertise with enterprise design patterns and industry best practices with experience using modern technology (e.g., Java, Cassandra, Kafka) and design patterns (e.g., micro services, APIs)Excellent communication skills and ability to present to and communicate effectively with key stakeholders across product, technology, data and designExperience with building, leading and mentoring technology teams and next level leaders within the organizationDemonstrated proficiency in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplinesExperience developing or leading cross-functional teams of technologistsExperience with hiring, developing, and recognizing talentPractical cloud native experienceExperience with high volume, mission critical applicationsExpertise in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical fieldPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skillsExperience working at code levelChase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America/'s households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
