This Assistant Vice President position will require an eager, self-motivated team player with a strong analytical skill set. Primary duties will include providing quantitative and qualitative support for Central Portfolio Managers and Asset Managers across the Western Region. The opportunity offers broad exposure to 25-35 properties across the office, industrial, multi-family and retail sectors, usually in the US. Properties will typically have a "core" risk profile but some will be "core+", "value-add", "opportunistic", or development.Role DetailsAs a Portfolio & Asset Management Real Estate Associate, you will (be):Compile underwriting in Argus and Excel to assist with multi-year planning, hold-sell decisions, financings, leasing, and value-add strategiesPrepare Investment Committee presentations for financings, leasing, and dispositionsAnalyze leasing opportunities and sensitivities via ARGUS, NPV analyses, and market researchAssist with annual property business plans and review of quarterly reportingLead external appraisal process and complete internal valuations, while working across several in-house departments, including transactions and researchUnderstand and interpreting attribution analysis, identifying areas of out(under) performanceSupport the transition of newly acquired properties from the Transactions group to the Portfolio/Asset Management groupWe are looking for:Bachelor/'s degreePrevious relevant experience is preferred in both asset management and valuationHighly organized, able to multi-task and communicate effectivelyAbility to work as part of a team and independentlyStrong work ethic and critical thinking skillsWhat we/'ll offer you:At DWS we/'re serious about diversity, equity and creating an inclusive culture where colleagues can be themselves. Actual salaries may be based on factors including skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
