OverviewThe Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Senior Telco Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Senior-level advisor, you will be responsible for identifying patterns across customers, developing new architectural patterns, and creating innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption.Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Senior Telco Delivery Consultant you will drive innovation and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple organizations. You’ll work closely with stakeholders as trusted advisors providing guidance on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and innovative cloud solutions. You will be responsible for sales support, ensuring alignment to customer business outcomes and value realization.The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping and delivering comprehensive business case analyses that demonstrate expected customer ROI, solution guidance, and implementation pathways for strategic cloud initiatives.Providing technical guidance and best practices during pre-sales and implementation phasesCollaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutionsScoping, sizing and creating proposals collaborating with ProServe Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievableDriving enterprise transformations leveraging cloud and emerging technologies through program management, value realization strategies, and cloud strategy development.Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologiesSharing knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifactsCreate scalable mechanisms and lead new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologiesBasic Qualifications5+ years of experience in cloud transformation implementationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience3+ years of solutioning experience with two or more of the following: BSS/OSS systems, network operational intelligence, customer service capabilities, 5G network architecture or data analytics3+ years of solutioning experience assisting telecommunications and broadband service providers with building new or migrating existing business workloads to Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud infrastructure3+ years experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfactionPreferred QualificationsAWS experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, SageMaker, Connect, RDS, Amazon Q)AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect)Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience with emerging technologies such as GenAI and Agentic AI applications in industry-specific contextsStrong financial modeling and market research skills, with the ability to conduct operational impact assessmentsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
