The primary responsibilities of this team include supporting infrastructure and services that enable frictionless ML and GenAI model deployments and consumption in any environment and for any purpose, across DataRobot’s SaaS offerings as well as on-premise offerings.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, test, and support features of DataRobot’s AutoML & GenAI platformDesign and deploy infrastructure for new features and services in collaboration with your teamOwn and drive key projects and milestones while fostering a culture of abundant communicationEngage in code reviews, pair programming, and other collaboration to seek, give, and receive critical feedbackPerform at a level where a manager can rely on delivering complex solutions on time, maintain and contribute to a roadmap, and manage technical risksCollaborate with product managers to distill requirements into actionable technical tasks and drive technical feedback on complexity and approachesEngage in Engineering On-Call to support services owned by the MLOps teamKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesExperience writing high-quality code in a collaborative, cloud-native environment, preferably using Python (3 years to 10+ years)Demonstrated experience with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud platformsStrong ability to build large software systems on container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and/or OpenShift and supporting technologies like HelmHands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, and/or similar toolsStrong Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, problem-solving, and scalability, performance, and reliabilityExperience decoupling monolithic software into smaller reusable componentsDeep experience with automated testing and test-driven developmentOwnership and mentoring mindset: ability to drive projects, communicate with stakeholders, and mentor engineers to spread best practicesNice to haveCKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) or equivalent certificationPublicly reviewable contributions to development projectsExperience supporting user-facing code and APIsKeen interest or experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and GenAICI/CD pipeline development experienceBenefitsThe talent and dedication of our employees are at the core of DataRobot’s journey to be an iconic company.
