OverviewSenior Product Manager - Email Security Platform at Virtru. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will lead the product lifecycle for Virtru's suite of email security solutions, including Google Workspace integrations and Data Security Gateway. You will own and drive the email security platform that protects sensitive communications across enterprise and government organizations, working to shape the roadmap for solutions that integrate with Google Workspace and other collaboration platforms.About VirtruVirtru is a leading data protection provider backed by venture capital firms in Silicon Valley and the Mid-Atlantic, including Iconiq Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Foundry Capital, and Tiger Global. We are building something special at Virtru and welcome you to join our team to advance data pensationCompensation: $150,000-200,000/yearResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute the product vision for email security solutions, balance customer needs, market opportunities, and technical feasibility. Collaborate with leadership to set strategic priorities and resource allocation.Customer & Market Research: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing to understand enterprise customer workflows, security requirements, and pain points. Conduct interviews and analyze usage data to inform decisions.Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the central hub between Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. Translate business requirements into clear product specs and ensure alignment across stakeholders.Go-to-Market Collaboration: Work with Product Marketing on positioning, launch strategies, and sales enablement. Support competitive analysis and pricing strategy development.Data-Driven Decision Making: Use Virtru/'s analytics tools to analyze product performance, customer behavior, and market trends. Define and track key metrics to measure success.Stakeholder Communication: Present updates, roadmaps, and recommendations to executive leadership, customers, and internal teams.Qualifications & SkillsProduct Management Experience: 5-7+ years in B2B SaaS, preferably enterprise security, collaboration tools, or email solutionsEmail & Enterprise IT Understanding: Knowledge of email systems, SMTP, enterprise infrastructure, and email security deployment patternsSecurity Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with email security threats, data loss prevention, encryption standards, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, FedRAMP)Enterprise Software Experience: Understanding of enterprise sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buyingTechnical Acumen: Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts; comfortable with APIs, integrations, and technical documentationAnalytical Mindset: Strong data analysis skills and experience with product analyticsCommunication Excellence: Outstanding written and verbal communication across technical and business audiencesPreferred skills:Experience with Google Workspace, M365, or other collaboration platformsExperience in cybersecurity or data protection solutionsUnderstanding of government/defense market requirements (CMMC, ITAR, FedRAMP)Experience with agile methodologies and product management frameworksBackground in enterprise gateway or infrastructure solutionsVirtruvian QualitiesThinking outside the box to respectfully challenge teammates in pursuit of excellenceStrong sense of urgency with an action-oriented mindsetAbility to collaborate and adapt to shifting prioritiesComfortable with asynchronous communication (Slack, email, Zoom, etc.)Perks & BenefitsVirtru prioritizes wellbeing with a holistic program spanning Occupational, Mental, Social, Physical, and Environmental Wellness.
