You will be part of a world-class software test engineering team working on various technologies in the Layer 4-7 domain, including Cloud, Data Loss Prevention, Post quantum cryptography, and IoT Security. You will collaborate with a multi-functional team of engineers to solve problems in L4-7 security.We seek highly motivated engineers with intellectual curiosity, a passion for solving complex problems, and the ability to work across teams. We value leaders who take ownership and collaborate toward a common goal.Your ImpactIn a fast-paced team, you will solve important customer problems and deliver impactful results across end-to-end product and solution validation.Lead end-to-end validation for critical networking and security features, solving key customer problems.Drive quality initiatives by collaborating with development, QA, and DevOps teams to achieve high quality and troubleshoot complex customer novate by suggesting and implementing improvements to the QA process and automation frameworks.Mentor and coach new team members, including participating in interviews to grow the team's capabilities.Adapt by staying updated with advancements and the use of AI for coding and quality processes, evaluating their relevance.QualificationsYour ExperienceGraduate degree (BS or MS) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar technical discipline or equivalent military experience required6+ years of experience in QA and automation specifically in networking, security products or servicesStrong automation skills in PythonDeep working knowledge in TCP/IP and application-layer protocols (etc.)Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and root cause analysis skillsGood understanding of Enterprise and SaaS products, with ability to participate in design, code review, and deployment of scalable software systemsExperience with customer engagements (proactive and reactive) and driving root cause analysis and corrective actionsAbility to leverage AI tools to improve testing efficiency and code qualityExperience with public cloud platforms (GCP, AWS) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)The TeamOur engineering team is central to our products and our mission is to prevent cyberattacks. For candidates offered at the posted level, the starting base salary is expected to be between $126,000/YR and $204,500/YR, with potential bonuses and restricted stock units.
