Senior Manager Finance - FP&A (Hybrid job)

OverviewAkima is looking for a Senior Manager Finance - FP&A to be based in Herndon, VA. This hybrid position supports corporate Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) under the direction of the VP of Finance for Akima, LLC and its subsidiaries. The role helps maintain an environment of sound financial system controls in support of monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes. It provides exposure to senior leadership and the overall financial data model at Akima, from financial structure setup to end-user financial reporting deliverables.ResponsibilitiesEstablish policies and processes for, and lead completion of, Requests for Equitable Adjustments (REAs).Manage B&P budgets and expenditure reporting.Support monthly/quarterly/annual financial forecasting and reporting for Akima’s Executive Team.Assist in the maintenance/configuration of CostPoint financial structures (General ledger accounts, Orgs, Pool Allocations and Financial Statements).Produce Balance Sheet reporting, Cash Flow projections, and monitor DSO.QualificationsBachelor’ s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree preferred.7+ years of experience in Finance, including 2+ years in an FP&A role.4+ years of experience using Cognos Analytics or Query/Report Studio.4+ years of experience working with Deltek Costpoint Core modules.Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI preferred.Extensive knowledge of CostPoint and Cognos; ability to analyze and report financial data for multiple users across the enterprise.Experience forecasting cash flow and managing DSO; working with large data sets (Power Query, merging/consolidation).Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards and FAR; familiarity with indirect cost structures and Costpoint wildcarding.Familiarity with the federal government services market and contract structures.Additional InformationWork Type: HybridLocation: Herndon, VAJob ID: 2025-18937 #J-18808-Ljbffr
