Senior SAP– Federal Financial Analyst Accounting and Reporting (Hybrid)Essential Job Functions:Providing daily support for federal financials using IRS’ Federal SAP financial management system to include reporting and federal generally accepted accounting principles, techniques, and practicesDesigning and implementing federal accounting practices, business processes, and reporting for appropriations, purchasing, travel, payroll, intergovernmental transactions, and miscellaneous federal funds in SAPDeveloping and implementing accounting and reporting requirements in several SAP modules including: financial integration, funds mgmt., asset accounting, cost accounting, and business warehousePosting models and master data in SAP, designing solutions for defects, designing user roles that enhance internal controls, data quality control, user support and training, and system assurance testingEnabling financial analysts in the execution of their jobs and providing technical support to ensure the successful and timely submission of reporting requirements, particularly quarterly and end of Fiscal YearQualifications:BS in Accounting10+ years’ experience with federal financials to include reporting and federal generally accepted accounting principles, techniques, and practices5+ years’ experience designing and implementing federal accounting practices, business processes, and reporting for appropriations, purchasing, travel, payroll, intergovernmental transactions, and miscellaneous federal funds in SAP5+ years of experience designing and implementing accounting and reporting requirements in several SAP modules including: financial integration, funds mgmt., asset accounting, cost accounting, and business warehouse5+ years’ experience with posting models and master data in SAP, designing solutions for defects, designing user roles that enhance internal controls, data quality control, user support and training, and system assurance testingKnowledge of the current IRS financial management systemEqual OpportunityIFAS is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
