Developer-Led Growth (DLG) Marketing Contractor / Contract / Remote Motion Recruitment is seeking a Developer-Led Growth (DLG) Marketing Contractor for a 100% remote contract. Contract Duration: 3 - 4 months, may extend to 6 - 7 months. Covering leave. This position is 35 hours per week. Responsibilities Vendor Management: Serve as the main point of contact for paid advertising vendors (e.g., Google, Reddit, SourceForge, BuySell Ads). Attend regular check-ins, optimize campaigns, and issue new insertion orders (IOs) as needed. Performance Monitoring: regularly review campaign performance using dashboards and budget documents; identify channels needing attention and make data-driven optimization decisions. Reporting & Analysis: prepare quarterly reviews for the DLG team, summarizing performance from the previous quarter using existing templates and data from dashboards. Project Execution: manage specific projects as they arise, adapting to product launches and budget changes. Documentation: use the Asana board to track tasks and consult existing how-to guides and documents for project execution. Required Skills & Experience 1-3 years of experience in Marketing with understanding of marketing and/or product-led growth funnels (e.g., TOFU metrics, CTRs). Ability to manipulate data (via Excel or Google Sheets); experience with Salesforce and Tableau is preferred. Vendor communication: strong communication skills for managing external vendor relationships and attending regular meetings. Data analysis: comfortable working with dashboards and data to monitor campaign performance and drive strategic adjustments. Autonomy: able to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks. Desired Skills & Experience Bonus points for experience marketing to and/or working closely with software developers. Tools & Platforms: experience with Asana and advertising platforms like Google is a plus. Qualities: proactive, detail-oriented, and able to quickly adapt to new projects and responsibilities.
