Chief Marketing Officer – Professional Services FirmAre you a seasoned marketing executive looking to join a well-established professional services firm as a part of their senior leadership team? Our client is a global professional services firm based in greater Detroit and is currently seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to serve as a member of the senior leadership team, guiding the marketing and brand identity of the firm as they work to ensure the firm is properly positioned in the marketplace in all market channels.The primary function of this position is to oversee the firm’s marketing team, overseeing the strategic initiatives and direction for how the brand is positioned competitively in all markets. This role is both operational in nature as well as strategic. Leveraging an extensive marketing background, this role will monitor market conditions and use insights to inform and guide the creation of relevant content in all market channels to create competitive advantage. Qualified candidates will have extensive experience in a similar professional services-based environment.Essential Functions of the Chief Marketing Officer – Professional Services FirmManage a distributed team of marketing coordinators that support the firm’s global officesDevelop, document, and implement efficiency-enabling processes and identify and vet tools and technologies that facilitate these processesWork with various stakeholders to maintain the client databaseOversee the development, maintenance, and extension of the firm's brand identityEnsure consistency in messaging and branding across all market channelsOversee the creation of high-quality, relevant content for various marketing channels (website, social media, whitepapers, etc.), ensuring that it aligns with the firm's messaging and resonates with the target audienceLead digital marketing efforts, including website content management, online advertising, social media, email campaigns, and search engine optimizationAnalyze digital marketing metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisionsUse analytic tools to track KPIs, optimize marketing strategies, and provide regular reports to executive leadershipDevelop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the firm's overall business objectivesIdentify target markets and client segments and create strategies to reach and engage them effectivelyUse market insights to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunitiesDevelop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectivelyConduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, client needs, and competitor activitiesCollaborate with client-facing teams to understand client needs and expectationsDevelop and implement strategies to enhance client satisfaction and loyaltyPlan and execute events, conferences, and seminars to enhance the firm's visibility and attract potential clientsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities of the Chief Marketing Officer – Professional Services FirmProven track record of serving as a leader of marketing in a professional services environment, in a construction, engineering or architectural environmentStrategic thinker capable of driving marketing initiatives that contribute to the firm’s success in competitive marketsExceptionally high Emotional Quotient, ability to connect with peopleAbility to operate in a very high-paced and dynamic environmentHigh ethical standardsProcess-oriented and highly organizedAbility to put systems in place to ensure timely, accurate and meaningful reportingDemonstrated ability to develop and effectively implement a strategic visionAbility to mentor and connect with both junior and senior level team membersStrong systems judgment and understanding of othersTraining and Experience Requirements for the Chief Marketing Officer – Professional Services FirmBachelor’s Degree in marketing, public relations, business or related fieldMaster’s degree preferred, but not required15+ years of marketing and sales experience including 10 years of managerial experienceMarketing experience in construction, engineering and/or architecture firms/environmentExperience developing and growing a business development and marketing teamKey Words: Chief Marketing Officer, CMO, Marketing, Director of Marketing, Sales, Professional Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
