This is a full-time, direct hire position.Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (flexible within 7-8 AM start)Employment Type: Full-Time, Non-ExemptCompensation: $56.07 - $72.78 per hour (based on experience, education, and location)About the RoleWe are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a proven track record of excellence from conceptual design through construction completion. This role requires a high level of independence, technical expertise, and collaboration across departments to deliver innovative and cost-effective engineering solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead project planning, coordination, and execution for large or multiple complex dependently develop conceptual designs through construction drawings.Collaborate with Project Management, Construction, Service, Controls, and trade partners.Provide field engineering support including trade coordination, scheduling, and troubleshooting.Ensure compliance with building codes, structural guidelines, and best practices.Perform structural calculations and produce PE-stamped installation packages for:Equipment anchorage and vibration isolationRooftop and riser duct/pipe supportsSeismic restraintsSupplemental steel and equipment skidsDevelop standard templates and scalable designs for supports and bracing.Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.PE license preferred (or ability to obtain shortly after hire).8+ years of structural design experience.Strong understanding of seismic bracing, support design, and building codes.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.Experience with 3D modeling software for design and installation packages.Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Core CompetenciesInitiative & Proactivity - Self-starter with minimal supervision.Problem-Solving - Analytical thinker with a solutions-oriented mindset.Teamwork & Communication - Collaborative and clear communicator.Technical Curiosity - Eagerness to learn and adapt.Big Picture Thinking - Understands how engineering impacts business goals.Physical RequirementsRegularly required to sit, stand, walk, and use hands.Occasionally lift/move up to 20 lbs.Must have close and distance vision and hearing ability for phone communication.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
