Market Development Manager, Biomarker ResearchBase pay range: $110,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yrRemote role supporting the Biomarker Research business in the Americas. Part of SCIEX, a Danaher operating company. The role contributes to demand generation, multi-channel marketing campaigns, and market visibility to support commercial success.OverviewThe Market Development Manager, Biomarker Research is responsible for developing and executing demand generation campaigns and strategy to support the growth of the Biomarker Research business in the Americas. The candidate should have a strong scientific and business understanding of this market, with networks within associated communities. You will act as a business owner, analyze key performance indicators, integrate them with broader market knowledge, and derive actionable conclusions to guide strategic directions and commercial success. You will develop creative, multi-channel marketing communications that drive demand, lead generation, and market visibility while staying relevant to external variables such as market trends and competitive positioning. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing & Business Development and is part of the Americas commercial organization located in the United States and fully remote.ResponsibilitiesConceive and support the execution of creative, measurable, multi-channel outbound marketing campaigns that address the customer’s buying journey and Americas commercial objectivesDrive participation in regional trade shows; create market-driven, strategic messaging for each event and achieve demand generation targetsPrepare data summaries and updates on key performance indicators, competitor strategies and market trends for commercial leadership; develop actionable countermeasures to current and anticipated market dynamicsCollaborate with the regional marketing team to drive customer engagement and new customer recruitment using established and emerging marketing strategiesIdentify and leverage storytelling opportunities to increase SCIEX visibility and market-shareEssential RequirementsBachelor of Science in a relevant scientific field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Science) or Business (e.g., Marketing), or equivalent work experience in relevant markets5+ years in sales, marketing, product management, technical, or scientific roles in relevant markets, including several years of direct experience with High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Mass SpectrometryExperience managing projects from inception to completion with leadership and cross-functional collaborationDemonstrated ability to translate strategic direction into commercial action using data-driven approachesTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/EnvironmentAbility to travel up to 40% within Canada, the United States and Latin AmericaPreferred/PlusMarket research that informs business strategy and/or direct customer insights researchAdvanced use of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce)Advanced university degree is preferredCompensation & BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $110,000 - $125,000 USD. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive benefits including paid time off and medical/dental/vision insurance, along with retirement benefits where applicable.
