If you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, we encourage you to apply.About the roleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil & Earthworks Estimator to work alongside our Pre-Contracts team. Our scope of works are currently Earthworks, Rehabilitation & NPI Civil Construction with multiple projects commencing and others in the pipeline. Working closely with the Projects team including the Estimating Manager, Project Managers, using established Tendering Templates with relevant compliance documentation (HSE, HR, etc) available to you, you will hold an integral part of the Company's growth by delivering accurate and competitive Tender preparation.Key dutiesReview thoroughly all tender documentation including scopes of work, contract requirements, engineering drawings/data, standards and codes, specifications, policies, and the like.Manage the development of quotes/tenders/proposals from receipt and acknowledgement, through detailed planning and costing, internal review, and timely submission of quality proposals.Oversee and assist in acquiring subcontractor, supplier and vendor quotations.Oversee and assist in the preparation, checking or measuring of schedules or bills of quantities.Assess the risks and opportunities in the construction of the project, both technically and commercially.Liaise with construction personnel to consider improvements in methodology and costs.Attend sites and facilities to gather information and assess site conditions.Participate in post tender negotiations.Provide planning and logistical support to supervisors and project managers.RequirementsAt least 5 years in the Mining and/or Construction IndustryExperience in leading and winning tenders $5m-$50mEarthworks, roadworks, services installation experience essential.Ability to be autonomousExperience working with Teir 1 or 2 Companies - RTIO, FMG etcWhy us?Well established team with a strong record of long tenure within the CompanyEmployee Assistance Program offeredClose & long term working relationship with Tier 1 Clients with a lot of repeat workA Company big enough to deliver; but small enough to care about all EmployeesTo be considered immediately; "Apply Now".
