Inviting applications for the role of Vice President - Manufacturing Advisory Principal. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership and Vision: Define and lead the global strategy for the manufacturing advisory practice, align with Genpact strategy and the Industry Unit Leader. Develop scalable, industry-relevant service offerings and shape long-term business strategies addressing market trends and client needs. Develop an end-to-end value chain view for the industry. Business Growth and Expansion: Drive business development, build and maintain a pipeline, convert opportunities to bookings and revenue, and collaborate with regional/global sales leaders to expand offerings and enter new markets. Identify opportunities to extend Genpact services and grow presence across industries and geographies. Develop go-to-market strategies and execution plans. Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and nurture advisory relationships with C-suite executives and senior leaders; be primary contact for high-value global clients, ensuring delivery excellence and satisfaction. Provide strategic counsel on business transformation with domain and technology expertise. Thought Leadership and Industry Influence: Represent Genpact at global forums and events; publish insights on AI, data strategy, and digital transformation. Foster innovation and ensure teams stay informed about relevant industry trends. Operational Excellence and Project Oversight: Oversee delivery of large-scale advisory projects, ensure timelines/budgets/ client expectations are met. Drive common methodologies, best practices, and resource efficiency to optimize gross margins. Cross-functional and Global Collaboration: Work with global teams across finance, supply chain, technology to deliver integrated client solutions. Promote cross-border collaboration and ensure seamless service integration across advisory, technology, data, and industry expertise. Advise the executive team on trends in advanced technology. Team Leadership and Talent Development: Build and lead a team of advisors, manage end-to-end lifecycle (hiring, onboarding, performance, exits). Provide coaching and development; work with leadership/HR on sensitive issues; foster a collaborative team culture and efficient onboarding. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s/MBA in business, finance, supply chain, accounting, analytics, engineering, technology, GenAI, or data management; MBA preferred. Extensive leadership experience in an industrial manufacturing organization with a track record of transformational change. Deep expertise in supply chain, sales and order management, procurement, lean manufacturing, and/or logistics. Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, cloud computing, and enterprise technology systems. Proven ability to guide high-level strategy across global environments; excellent communication and negotiation skills with C-suite stakeholders. Creative, forward-thinking in delivering technology solutions; ability to integrate diverse disciplines for holistic client solutions. Experience managing global, cross-functional teams; track record of growing a business unit or practice through innovation and client relationships. Ability to influence C-level customers and internal stakeholders; strong problem-solving and presentation skills (in person and virtual). Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build relationships easily. Preferred Qualifications: MBA/Masters in supply chain, manufacturing engineering, or manufacturing finance; well-connected in the market to generate leaders for the business. Location and compensation notes: The approximate annual base compensation range is $160,000 to $200,000. Offers reflect total compensation including benefits and depend on experience, skills, location, and internal equity.
