NPI Engineer

Our client is a leading maker of RF ICs for 4G and 5G mobile applications. They are currently seeking a Hardware Engineer focused on New Product Introduction. This individual will be responsible for leading an NPI Engineering Build Plan and Documentation (BOM, Assembly Drawings, Material Instructions) to contract manufacturers and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a BSEE, or higher, with 2+ years of industry experience in this area. He/she should understand product engineering, quality, reliability, backend wafer process (bumping, dicing, WIP) and have ideally come from a semiconductor manufacturing environment. He/she will interact on a routine basis with R&D project teams, Q&R teams, Packaging, and suppliers. Someone with RFIC experience is ideal, but as long as they come from semiconductors this will work just as well. Use of AutoCAD/Cadence SiP is a plus.Position is located in San Jose, CA. Onsite only!
