This is a full-time, onsite role for a strategic thinker with strong tax technical skills and a passion for client service. The successful candidate will lead high-level engagements, mentor staff and play an integral role in client relationship management and business development.ResponsibilitiesManage and conduct high-level review of complex tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership and trust returnsHandle occasional complex or special tax projects as neededProvide strategic tax planning and consulting tailored to client needsStay current with tax law changes and advise clients on implications and planning opportunitiesDevelop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through exceptional service and business insightWork collaboratively with partners, senior managers and staff to deliver integrated client service and support new business developmentLead client meetings and presentations, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and confidentlyMonitor engagement profitability by managing budgets, billing and client expectationsActively participate in business development efforts such as networking, attending industry events and supporting proposal developmentTrain, supervise and mentor staff, fostering their professional growth and technical developmentQualificationsCPA license requiredBachelor’s degree in accounting required; master’s in accounting or taxation preferred5–7 years of recent experience in public accounting, primarily focused on taxStrong knowledge of current tax laws, tax software and research toolsExcellent communication, leadership and organizational skillsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentWhy Join RESJ P.C.Collaborative, team-oriented culture with direct access to firm leadershipExposure to a broad range of clients and industriesOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentCompetitive compensation and comprehensive benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr
