We hope you will join us.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the Company’s fund level partnership returns ensuring the timely filing of the Company’s federal, state, and local income tax returns, including reviewing the work product and managing relationships with external advisors.Responsible for reviewing the HLBV models for tax equity partnerships.Support the business related to tax implications of development and M&A opportunitiesResponsible for liaising directly with Tax Equity Investors across our fundsResponsible for the resolution of federal, state and local tax notices and audits.Maintain, document, and develop income tax related governance and internal controls.Identify and implement best practice process improvements across the tax function.Responsible for development of tax team membersPerform other duties as requested by managementEducation & Experience RequiredEmbrace and live by the mission and values of Cypress Creek RenewablesBS in Accounting or Tax, MS in Tax is a plusCPA requiredMinimum 6-8 years of partnership tax experience with large corporate or public accounting firmBig4 experience strongly preferredProficient in complex partnership concepts including allocations and HLBV reportingSolar or other renewable energy experience is strongly preferredExperience with financial modeling and Investment Tax Credit processes is preferredExperience in M&A transactions is a plusPeople management and development experienceMust be detail oriented, resourceful and organizedAbility to multi-task and work in tight time frames and deadlinesEffectively communicates with regulatory agencies, tax reviewers, state, local, independent auditors, attorneys, peers and all levels of corporate managementMust be a self-starter who handles multiple projects with competing priorities with minimum supervisionLocationThe preferred location for this role is one of our office locations: Durham, NC; Washington, DC; or New York City, NY. The Washington, DC office is preferred. Our team operates on a hybrid schedule, with in-office schedule of three days per pensationThe salary range for the position is $120,000-$170,000 plus bonus and benefits.
