The team specifically focuses on:Asset Management and Rehabilitation DesignDevelopment of Urban and Working WaterfrontsElectrification & Decarbonization of Port InfrastructureWe’re seeking passionate professionals who thrive in collaborative environments and want to make a lasting impact.Our team in Boston is looking for a Project Manager with a strong background in planning, design construction within waterfront engineering. Candidates with a background in bridges and other civil engineering fields have been successful in this role and are also encouraged to apply. We are looking for someone with excellent design management and task management skills who is interested in expanding their scope and experience in project management. Each day you will get to learn, use and build on your experience in engineering analysis and design, work collaboratively with design teams and maximize opportunities in cross-business and emerging this role, you will manage all phases of project development, from initial planning through design and construction—motivating multi-disciplinary teams in the successful delivery of contract documents, design basis, technical specifications, and other client deliverables. You will develop and implement project execution plans for managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables and identify and mitigate project risks, implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will be expected to interface with clients and subconsultants, give presentations and work on technical proposals to ensure project objectives are achieved.This position provides excellent growth opportunity and professional visibility as part of a world class ports and maritime practice.What you’ll needBachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field from an ABET accredited university or collegeAbility to guide and mentor engineers on design procedures and quality managementExperience in preparation of construction drawings and specifications and leading design tasks, especially in design rehabilitation or inspection of marine structures and/or facilitiesStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for working on and around the waterA self-starter who can look for solutions, get things done and keep projects moving forwardOur health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
