Qualified candidates would need to reside within/in close proximity to this market area (specifically the greater Seattle area).ResponsibilitiesDevelops sales activities with commercial/SLED segment new customers; upsells and cross sells to the existing commercial customersDevelops sales pipeline by proactive calling to convert sales conversations to identified prospectsWorks with regional sales team to advance opportunities to closure, including Systems Engineers to technically qualify and deliver product demonstrationsCloses business in conjunction with Veeam partners (in tier-two model)Meets individual and team revenue targets Leverages business generated by partners with end users/customersDrives account strategies and coordinates team selling efforts with Inside Sales Reps, Channel Partner Managers, Marketing, Sales Engineering and others to close businessEffectively executes a territory plan to maximize revenueEnters forecasting and account/opportunity details in Veeam’s CRM (Salesforce)Engages with Veeam Strategic Alliance partners to drive mutually beneficial revenue opportunitiesProposes, coordinates and participates to marketing activities within the territoryAbility to travel up to 75% of the time within the assigned territory/region requirementsQualificationsBachelor/'s Degree and/or equivalent years of experienceAt least three (3) years of sales, selling software through the channels and end-usersExperience in business-to-business selling and managing using a consultative sales approach, and will have strong demonstrated closing skillsAbility to work independently with limited direction in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of large distributors and value-added resellers (VAR’s) is highly desiredKnowledge of virtualization industryKnowledge of solution selling and value-based selling techniquesKnowledge of different sales methodologies and customer relationship management (CRM) systemSalesforce knowledge is requiredMicrosoft Office tools knowledge/experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)#LI-KS2The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay.
