OverviewSales Director — Head of Americas Investment Management and OEMS Sales. Responsible for managing a target and leading a team of sellers engaging North American clients across core and new logo segments to achieve sales targets.The Investment Management and OEMS team sells a suite of products including Workspace, AlphaDesk, TORA (REDI), and Autex. The suite provides LSEG's Desktop News, Data and Analytics platform as well as Order and Portfolio Management Software for hedge funds and asset managers globally. Clients use LSEG's Workspace and OEMS capabilities to manage research, portfolio management, trading, monitoring and reporting. Our consultative approach and high-quality implementations are valued by clients.Role OverviewAs a Sales Director, you will carry a team target and support a team of Sales Specialists to prospect, structure and negotiate terms with prospective customers across the Buy Side ecosystem. The leader will develop a sales strategy for the market and drive performance with emphasis on gross and outright revenues. This role requires leadership and relationship skills to build a strong team culture and to partner with Account Management and Customer Success teams to deliver results. This role reports to the Head of Workflow Solutions Sales and is part of the Americas Data and Analytics Sales team focused on delivering the full value proposition of the London Stock Exchange Group.What you7ll be doingDeveloping the sales strategy and execution plans for your teamResponsible for team financial performance for gross and outright salesDefine, plan and drive execution of campaigns with sales enablementPartner with regional marketing to align with regional Sales & Account Management prioritiesRecommend and collaborate on resource allocation to execute strategyCross-functional alignment and communication around customer agendaInfluence product priorities by providing deep regional market and customer insightConsolidate voice of the customer to inform product development and capital allocationSales mobilization, mentoring and coachingProvide deal support on strategic/complex dealsMonitor all aspects of key competitors and market trends, and develop strategies to achieve competitive advantageDrive our thought-leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for OEMS in your marketWhat are we looking for8 years+ financial services sales management experience (prior fintech experience a plus)Proven B2B sales experience/exposure to deliver on financial targets (sales, retention and costs). Experience as a dedicated Hunter is requiredSeries Licenses are a plus and can be supported in roleUnderstands team pipeline, sales cycles, and coaches on best practices for pipeline cleanliness and sales cycle acceleration, raising the bar of expectations for deal close rateSenior (C-level) network of customers, regulators and market forums/associationsDeep understanding of the financial tools used by market professionalsUnderstanding of trends and themes impacting the financial services industry, familiarity with macroeconomic trendsDemonstrate strong leadership skills including influencing at a high level and leading teams and stakeholders to achieve a common objectiveStrong organizational, communication and presentation skillsExperience of operating in a matrix organization, including stakeholder engagement and influencing managementCompensation/BenefitsThe anticipated base salary for this position is $169,400 - $282,400. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will reflect job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
