Associate Director - Leveraged Finance PM Base pay range: $70,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Overview The Associate Director - Portfolio Manager - Leverage Finance is responsible for the management of a portfolio of commercial loans within the Corporate, Specialty and Government Banking division. Primary responsibilities include underwriting quality, portfolio monitoring and portfolio administration for an assigned portfolio. The Associate Director-PM will frequently collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management and other product partners in optimizing customer relationships. Preferred locations are Columbus, OH, Detroit, MI, Chicago, IL or Charlotte, NC. Duties & Responsibilities Underwrite complex commercial loans in accordance with Huntington credit policies. Monitor a portfolio of commercial loans, proactively identifying emerging risks and escalating concerns as appropriate, and maintaining accurate risk ratings. Portfolio administration, including management of delinquencies, collateral exceptions, borrowing base and covenant compliance, product renewals, etc., as applicable. As applicable, attend client calls (virtual or in-person) with Relationship Management and other Bank partners. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market/industry trends. Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available. Assist with training and/or mentoring Analyst & Associate level colleagues. Review and negotiate credit documentation in consultation with legal counsel. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required 5 or more years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment 2 or more years of Sponsored or Leverage Finance experience Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred 3 or more years of Sponsored or Leverage Finance Portfolio Management experience High level of professionalism and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (particularly Microsoft Excel) Formal credit training and/or complex commercial loan underwriting Experience in the syndicated loan market Proficiency in S&P Capital IQ Work Arrangements and Compensation Workplace Type: Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Remote roles may be available with occasional in-office collaboration. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team. Compensation range: $70,000.00 - $140,000.00 annual base salary. Colleagues in this position are eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
