Learn More Here: We are looking to hire a facility Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for White Deer Run of Allenwood. The CFO is an integral part of the senior leadership team and participates in financial and functional decision-making to achieve the facility’s operational and financial goals. The Facility CFO is responsible for overall financial operations and day-to-day fiscal management of the facility. Ensures that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled on a monthly basis and in compliance with company policies and standards; identifies and corrects variances promptly. Prepares corporate required reports (including the Monthly Operating Report, Monthly Certifications, Corporate Disclosures, Forecasts) timely and accurately. Ensures all accounting and business office policies and internal controls are in place to facilitate a clean audit with no material adjustments; ensures that all approval processes are in place. Directs the revenue cycle to ensure accounts receivable is collected timely and that uncompensated care is minimized. Aims to achieve cash collection goals and reduce bad debt and denials; reviews revenue cycle metrics to address performance issues. Ensures Front End Revenue Cycle processes, including 100% insurance verification, collaboration with Financial Counselors for patient portions and discounts/charity approvals, and proper logging of upfront collections. Maintains knowledge of federal, state, and managed care reimbursement methodologies to ensure accurate payments and proper recording of revenue deductions; facilitates preparation of required cost reports. Supervises Accounting, Patient Accounting, Health Information Management, Materials Management and other departments as assigned by the CEO; ensures adequate staffing and training in these departments. Ensures compliance with Group Purchasing contracts and monitors purchases to keep supply costs within budgeted levels. Prepares annual operating budget and participates in annual strategic planning; analyzes variances and assists the CEO in implementing changes to achieve budget goals. Prepares annual capital budgets and Capital Equipment Requests; ensures assets and related depreciation are recorded accurately and in compliance with policies. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field with a major in Accounting. Minimum 3 years of CFO experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Behavioral healthcare experience and experience with a proprietary healthcare system preferred. CPA or Master’s degree a plus. Proven financial analysis skills. Experience with information technology; proficiency with Excel and Word. Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think strategically and solve problems; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with facility staff, physicians and corporate staff; high ethical standards and emotional intelligence.
