OverviewDirector Marketing Strategy and Enterprise Partnerships. Location: East Hanover, NJ. This role will not be remote.About the RoleThe Director Marketing Strategy and Enterprise Partnerships has a dual role as Chief of Staff and Partnership Support Lead. The position focuses on strategic operational efficiencies and seamless integration of partnerships across the organization, with emphasis on impact, collaboration, and alignment with company objectives. The successful candidate will support internal and external initiatives related to partnership agendas, summaries, insights, and the development of competitive intelligence, while driving operational strategies to maximize Novartis/u2019 partnerships, including large platforms such as NFL partnerships.Key ResponsibilitiesChief of Staff 70 50%Executive Support and Communication: Draft presentations, reports and updates for internal and external audiences. Prepare briefings on key initiatives. Support Town Hall agendas by collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.Operational Excellence: Coordinate meetings, agendas, and communications; track high-priority activities for the VP; assist with meeting preparation; troubleshoot operational bottlenecks.Leadership Team, Stakeholder and Organizational Alignment: Support IMO and Marketing Strategy culture and values; monitor organizational activity and implement engagement improvements. Facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams within IMO. Support the Marketing Strategy Oncology Leadership Team as needed.Project and Program Management: Manage and track progress of strategic projects; identify barriers and drive resolutions; pursue process improvements and operational efficiencies.Partnership Support 70 50%Performance Summaries & Insights: Create recaps and learning summaries from partnership activations (e.g., NFL programs) to inform and improve future strategies.Market Trends: Monitor industry trends and competitive insights to keep Novartis at the forefront of partnership strategies and high-impact platforms.Omnichannel Integration: Support omnichannel marketing campaigns with operational guidance ensuring alignment with partnership munity Activation: Facilitate activation of partnerships, using culturally relevant anchors (e.g., NFL teams) to advance campaigns regionally.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams (marketing, sales, legal, medical review) to ensure partnerships meet compliance and strategic objectives.Cross-Functional Efficiencies: Develop and manage processes that drive operational excellence across partnerships and ensure alignment with business goals.QualificationsEssential Requirements5+ years in project management and translating strategy into execution; leading strategy across enterprise / multiple brands5+ years in partnership marketing in sports, music and/or entertainment2+ years leading complex projects requiring global and local alignmentDesirable Requirements2+ years within a significant consultancy group (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain)Pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or healthcare consulting industryMBA or Health Policy DegreeGlobal or Regional experience (projects or roles for 6+ months)CompensationBase pay range: $168,000.00/yr - $312,000.00/yr. The total compensation package may include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards, in addition to a full range of benefits (medical, retirement plans, paid time off, etc.). Final pay determinations depend on factors including location, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.Location and Employment DetailsEmployment type: Full-time.
