Position OverviewWe are seeking a Senior UX Designer who can push the boundaries of user experience. In this role, you will combine strategic thinking, hands-on design, and leadership to create experiences that delight users and drive business growth. You will be responsible for high-impact projects, guiding design decisions, and influencing product direction while mentoring teammates and shaping the design culture at Goosehead.You will tackle our most complex design challenges and help shape the future of our product experiences. This is a senior individual contributor role, not a management position, where you will lead by example through your vision, craft, and influence. You will collaborate with executives, product leaders, and engineering partners to define strategy while remaining hands-on with design execution.As a human-centric, strategic thinker, you are detail-oriented, naturally curious, and well-versed in both desktop and mobile customer-facing experiences.Position Duties and ResponsibilitiesRepresent and champion the client and agent perspective in the design, creation, and delivery of desktop and mobile digital product initiativesDevelop wireframes/prototypes and optimize flows for consumer and agent-centric experiences, driving engagement and lead generationHelp prevent erosion of the digital product experience through regular design quality reviewsContribute to, enhance, and maintain UI component libraries for digital productsCollaborate and maintain effective working relationships with Marketing, Product, Operations, Sales, IT, and Development teams to create, build, and optimize client and agent experiences with our digital productsContribute to a consistent visual and interaction design language across products and channelsWork with UI designers to implement industry-leading designsKeep up to date on competitor products and industry trendsPlan and participate in user testing sessions, turning insights into actionable design improvementsLeverage analytics to identify pain points, inefficiencies, traffic loss, and other enhancement opportunities as you design future state digital product experiencesLead or participate in design workshops to align teams, spark ideas, and refine solutions. Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.Ensure designs and websites meet federal accessibility/ADA standards (Americans with Disabilities Act).Essential Job FunctionsExpert knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office, and or similar design and prototyping toolsPortfolio that demonstrates end-to-end design work and problem-solvingDeep understanding of interaction design, responsive layouts, and accessibilityStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teamsA growth mindset and desire to keep learning and expanding your skillsExperienced and comfortable with agile methodologyConsumer-first and insights-driven strategic thinkingExamples or portfolio of driving improvements and optimization of UX, across consumer experiences online & mobile platformsAbility to create working UI prototypes using Figma, similar applicationsExpert in effective user experiences.
