They are expanding their presence and seeking an ambitious and driven Sales Director to join our team.Base pay range$220,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yrResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute robust sales strategies to exceed revenue targets and expand market share.Stay informed of market trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to refine sales approaches.Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning and product development roadmaps.Team Management & DevelopmentRecruit, lead, and develop a top-tier sales team, setting clear performance goals and evaluating results.Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to encourage continuous improvement.Foster a collaborative culture that values teamwork, integrity, and accountability.Technical Consultation & SupportLeverage your technical understanding of transformers or power systems to guide sales discussions and tailor solutions to client needs.Partner with engineering teams to develop proposals, address client-specific requirements, and ensure product suitability.Continually update knowledge base on industry regulations, product advancements, and best practices.Client Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain long-term partnerships with key customers, industry contacts, and stakeholders.Negotiate contracts and agreements that meet both customer needs and company objectives.Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions, acting as an ambassador for our brand.Oversee and optimize the sales funnel, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely pipeline updates.Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to ensure on-time product delivery and superior customer support.Analyze sales data to identify trends, adjust strategies, and share insights with senior management.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), or a related field.8+ years of experience in sales leadership, preferably within the power distribution, transformer, or related industrial sector.Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams.Technical aptitude in transformers/power systems is highly advantageous; demonstrated ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts to clients.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Track record of strategic planning, achieving sales targets, and building robust client relationships.Willingness to travel as needed to manage regional sales activities and meet with key stakeholders.Strategic Mindset: Ability to plan ahead, anticipate shifts in the market, and pivot strategies effectively.Technical Acumen: Understanding of transformer or power system technology to inform sales strategies and problem-solving.Team Leadership: Proven capacity to inspire, guide, and develop sales professionals in a collaborative environment.Customer-Centric: Skilled at nurturing client relationships, offering tailored solutions, and delivering on commitments.Result-Driven: Committed to meeting or exceeding sales targets and contributing to overall business growth.Location: Houston, TX #J-18808-Ljbffr
