OverviewHoyle Tanner’s Ground Transportation Division is seeking a Senior Project Engineer who has honed their craft for the last 10-15 years. You will be leading the team that solves technical challenges of significant scope, size, and difficulty. You have an integral part in recommendations to the program manager related to project development, client expectations, budgets, and proposals. This office is located along the developing Route 129 corridor in Chelmsford.Job ResponsibilitiesHold the lead role in an integrated, multi-discipline team that solves technical project challenges of all typesUnderstand project budget, scope of services, project schedule and project developmentBe a primary contributor or author of the development of technical and price proposalsMonitor and review spent hours and dollars versus percent complete in relation to project timelines and budget and provide recommendations to the Project Manager to stay on trackUnderstand the client’s organization and develop professional relationships with client peersManage engineering staff and prioritize technical tasks to meet changes in schedule or resource availabilityBe proficient in technical writing, editing, and presentationsIdentify areas of improvement and regularly shares best practices and/or improve processesDevelop person-hour estimates and budgetsAct as a technical lead and demonstrate a specialized skill in a subject matter or applicationPotentially be the primary team member responsible for overall quality control of the projectPursue a technical engineering or project management specialization as part of your career growthQualificationsBSCE Degree required, MSCE preferred10+ Years of relevant experienceCurrent PE in NH, MA, ME, or VTExperience with the multiple engineering programsSalary is contingent on experienceEqual OpportunityHoyle Tanner is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
