In this role, you’ll design and validate packaging solutions that ensure our products remain safe, sterile, and easy to use — from manufacturing to the hands of physicians worldwide.What You’ll DoDesign and develop sterile and non-sterile packaging systems: Sterile Barriers, Thermoformed Tray, Tyvek Pouch, Cartons, shipping containers.Support packaging verification and validation testing (distribution, aging, sterilization compatibility).Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Regulatory teams to bring new products to market.Ensure compliance with ISO 11607, FDA, and international medical device packaging standards.Collaborate with suppliers on packaging materials and component qualifications.Drive improvements in packaging performance, cost, and sustainability.What We’re Looking ForBachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.5+ years of packaging experience in medical devices, or life sciences.Familiarity with ISO 11607, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and ASTM/ISTA test methods.Hands-on experience with packaging validation and sterilization methods (EtO, e-beam).Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional teamwork skills.Nice to HaveExperience with cardiovascular devices (stents, catheters, grafts, delivery systems).Exposure to human factors and packaging usability studies.Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement pany Info40-Person Cardiovascular Medical Device companyLocation: Menlo Park, CA (just off Marsh Road exit)Product Status: Currently in US Clinical Trials, and will commercialize in 2026$20MM Round B Financing closed Aug 2025Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionMedical Equipment ManufacturingWe’re removing boilerplate and unnecessary items to focus on the role and requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
