If that sounds good to you, let’s talk.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign of water, wastewater and other infrastructure systems and facilitiesPrepare studies, reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a wide variety of groundwater/wastewater projectsSupport project managers with client relations, stakeholder management, and sub-consultant coordinationIndustrial process control and Control Systems DesignLeading and mentoring mid-level staffConstruction management/inspectionAssist in proposal preparation including oral presentationsPrepare the scope, schedule, and budget for new projectsWork within a team of project managers, design engineers, technicians, and support staff to successfully complete a variety of projectsTake ownership of projects from start to finishReview submittals, oversee the design, variety of projects keeping within budget and meeting timelines/milestonesMinimum Qualifications10+ years of relevant experience in water, wastewater, and stormwater project design5+ years of experience in field construction managementBachelors degree in Chemical or Civil EngineeringP.E. license in California or ability to transfer within a reasonable timeframe is requiredQuality control certificationsAbilities to establish and maintain stakeholder relationshipsAbility to learn and adaptExperience in managing technical staff and project teamsAbility to manage several projects concurrentlyDemonstrated success in business development activitiesSolid organizational, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to establish and maintain relationships with clients and multi-disciplinary team membersWhy join MacKay SpositoA people-first culture - We are dedicated to our employees and their families. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as various market and business considerations.The annual wage range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000, depending on experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.Full time employees receive a well rounded benefit package including access to Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA, and Life Insurance plans, with company-paid Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, and Long Term Disability. 401k plan with up to 4% match, paid vacation, paid sick time, 11 paid holidays, and eligibility for employee ownership offerings. Licensure expenses and annual profit sharing bonuses are covered by MacKay Sposito. Employment requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
