For details, visit the Georgetown HR website.ResponsibilitiesProvide support to the Chairs, Program Directors, faculty, and students within the College's departments and programs.Serve as the main point of contact for faculty, staff, and other university administrators; interact with external organizations conducting business with the departments/programs.Act as a key resource on University Human Resources and Faculty Appointment policies and procedures; handle HR-related administration including hiring, onboarding, termination paperwork, and payroll support.Administer and reconcile purchasing, accounts payable, and other financial matters.Plan events and design marketing materials for these events.Maintain, update, and develop the respective website.Coordinate space requests for teaching, events, and program activities.Handle logistical arrangements for faculty travel and visiting guest scholars.QualificationsBachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of professional work experience - preferably in an academic settingExperience in managing administrative operations, leadership and budgetary oversightProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros) and experience with database queriesStrong communication skillsAbility to learn quickly, be flexible and resourcefulAbility to work independently and collaborativelyFamiliarity with website management, social media and related analytics preferredCourseLeaf, Cognos and Workday experience preferredKnowledge of Georgetown University financial and human resources procedures preferredWork Mode DesignationThis position has been designated as Hybrid.
