Handles a wide range of legal responsibilities as assigned. Assists with interpretation and application of State and Federal rules. Participates as a member and/or attends various committees and/or meetings. Education Bachelor’s Degree Required J.D. Required Experience 7 Years Legal experience Required 5 Years Legal experience in specialty area of position Required 5 Years Legal Experience In Healthcare Law Strongly Preferred The primary focus of work experience in the hospital/health care industry should include Hospital operations. Medical malpractice experience is not relevant to this position. Licenses and Certifications JD - Juris Doctor by State Bar of Texas 6 Months Required Skills Strong academic credentials, excellent writing and speaking skills, ability to relate to all levels of personnel within THR as well as medical staff members.
