OverviewDirector of Recruiting, West Coast (Majors & Emerging Accounts).As a Director of Recruiting, you will be part of Swoon’s leadership team—responsible for leading, growing, directing, and driving the performance of the West Coast Major Accounts & Emerging Recruiting team. Success in the role will be achieved through hands-on leadership, achieving forecasted gross margin goals, managing recruiting activity and performance, developing and executing recruiting strategies, and growing Swoon’s West Coast delivery team.ResponsibilitiesGrow the business by collaborating with leadership, director counterparts, the sales team, and internal groups to ensure placements and margin growth.Ensure roles are assigned, delegated, and recruited with urgency.Provide ongoing training, mentorship, and coaching for the team to achieve margin and performance goals.Maintain optimum team productivity and set the pace for the day.Lead by example, recruiting and executing recruiting best practices as the business spire and motivate the team by exemplifying the behaviors, activity levels, presence, and leadership of tenured recruiters.Strategize to overcome challenges, address deficits, and provide guidance on resetting the day/week as needed.Ensure recruiting tools, resources, and best practices are utilized.Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting for the team.Conduct monthly and quarterly reviews with the team and participate in MSP scorecard reviews and client meetings.Stay current on recruiting market trends and rates/salaries, and provide executive-level presence in the office, on company-wide calls, and meetings.Performance ManagementAccountable for meeting or exceeding recruiting activity and financial goals for designated teams.Create financial spread goals for each recruiter and submit them for SVP approval.Drive performance across daily, weekly, monthly, and annual metrics.Maintain healthy client ratios for each West Coast Major & Emerging Account with monthly and quarterly reviews and course corrections as needed.Monitor overall team activity with daily performance spot checks and real-time feedback.Ensure the team meets deadlines and metrics (resume submissions, notes, pre-screens, interviews, debriefs, offers to close).Identify needs for Performance Improvement Plans and design and implement them with SVP approval.Provide honest, transparent, and timely feedback to motivate high performance.Talent AcquisitionIdentify, interview, train, and coach new team hires.Attract, develop, and retain the recruiting team.Promote a coaching culture—demonstrate, teach, and learn.Work with leadership to plan for current and future workforce needs.Conduct training sessions and ensure resources are utilized; bring new hires up to speed quickly and successfully.Determine succession planning by helping identify future recruiting team members and leaders.DetailsSeniority level: DirectorEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: ManagementIndustries: Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
