What You'll DoWe are identifying a world-class HCMS Functional HR SME (U.S. Citizen). This role is a Workday HCM HR SME (Functional) to support Federal Human Capital Management (HCM) initiatives. The ideal candidate has a strong background in HR administration and HCM systems and is enthusiastic about learning and growing within the Workday ecosystem. Workday certification is not required at hire, but the selected candidate will be expected to achieve Workday HCM Certification post-employment (training support provided). Act as a functional HR SME in the implementation and support of Workday HCM modules Translate complex HR business needs into Workday functional requirements and configurations Work directly with stakeholders to gather requirements and map current HR processes to Workday functionality Support testing, validation, and deployment of Workday HCM modules Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration between Workday and other systems Provide knowledge transfer and training to end-users and HR staff Assist with data conversion, reporting, and post-deployment support Stay up to date on Workday best practices and upcoming releases Deliver contractual requirements, alert leadership to mitigate risks, and develop and execute mitigation plans Ensure conformance with program task schedules and costs, and deliver reports and deliverables to support successful program execution Coordinate business process and requirements workshops, design workshops, gate reviews as needed Communicate and support Groundswell company policies and procedures Perform tasks assigned by management Non-standard work hours may be required Required Qualifications US citizen (no dual status) and eligible for government TS/SCI clearance; preference given to active TS or TS/SCI clearance holder 5+ years of experience in Human Capital Management with a strong understanding of HR administrative processes Prior experience using and performing duties on an HCM software platform (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, etc.) Familiarity with Federal HR requirements, policies, and operational structures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret business needs into system requirements Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams Willingness and ability to pursue Workday HCM certification within a defined timeline after hire Experience in Intelligence Community (IC) or DoD operational systems preferred Local to DMV area and able to conduct meetings in SCIF Flexibility to travel as required Educational Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience Why You’ll Never Want to Leave Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans Flexible Spending Account 4% 401K Match (immediate vesting) Paid Time Off Tuition reimbursement, certification programs, and professional development Flexible work schedule On-site gym and childcare option The salary range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for geographic differential.
