This role provides strategic and operational leadership to a team of HR Business Partners/Managers in the areas of employee relations, policy review/compliance, EEO/AAP initiatives, and labor relations, and represents the business and employee pulse in other aspects of HR. Influencing: Drive decision making and changes using high-level human capital knowledge. Change Enabler: Represent interests and recommend opportunities for improvements, facilitating adoption. Builder of Organizational Capacity: Integrate business and people strategies to drive performance and competitive advantage. Encourages Excellence: Inspire commitment to individual, team and organizational excellence. Duties and Responsibilities Recommend and implement best-in-class HR practices to support objectives, partnering with the global HR function. Provide HR support and consultation on employee relations issues, investigations, discipline, and terminations. Identify key business issues and related people, organizational and cultural implications; develop programs to optimize engagement and retention and monitor trends. Partner with global HR to develop and implement new HR Policies and Procedures. Direct labor relations activities including contract negotiations and grievances through the Labor Relations Manager. Ensure legal compliance with laws and labor regulations; communicate changes to employees. Partner with global Talent to input on developing and implementing EEO/diversity guidelines and initiatives. Partner with Total Rewards to administer compensation and benefits programs and processes. Drive organizational performance through attracting, engaging and developing employees; manage talent development, succession planning, performance management and learning. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to communicate with and influence a diverse audience including all employee levels and outside labor and legal representatives. Broad and deep Technical HR knowledge and hands-on experience. Consultative expertise. Ability to operate in corporate, call center and field environments and tailor approach to varying employee needs. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related discipline. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a business partner and leadership HR role. Experience in a Labor or Union environment preferred. Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and collaboration skills.
