Oracle Applications and Technology Services within the COE supports area offices by providing resources that can design, architect, deliver and lead innovative solutions leveraging technical capabilities of Oracle SaaS and PaaS applications. This group advises clients to understand, architect and implement the core applications and technology required to run their business.As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will be at the forefront of defining user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across diverse platforms. You/'ll play a pivotal role in engineering software components and services that ensure seamless communication within the system architecture.ResponsibilitiesEnsuring billability through chargeable work to external clients.Leading workstream delivery with strategic oversight.Managing project status and overseeing deliverable completion.Traveling as required by client engagements.Actively participating in client sessions and leading workstreams from planning to execution.Identifying additional service opportunities to drive sales.Leading specific RFP responses and managing engagement economics.Executing resource planning within budget constraints.Skills and attributes for successTo thrive in this role, you/'ll need a blend of technical prowess and business acumen, coupled with the ability to manage complex problems and lead teams effectively. Lead by exampleGenerate new business opportunities by thoroughly understanding EY and its service lines and actively assessing and presenting ways to apply knowledge and servicesDevelop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externallyManage and supervise a team of technology professionals through all phases of the technology lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture design, conversion and testingInteract and communicate effectively with supply chain and technology senior and middle management executivesAgile development methodologies.Application integration and quality assurance.Proficiency in software development and technology business requirements analysis.Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.Digital fluency and emotional agility.To qualify for the role, you must haveA 4-year bachelor/'s degree is required, with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience.4 - 6 years relevant experience working with SCM / ERP application implementations system as a Technical Lead, Application Development Lead or Enterprise Application Integration lead, with at least 2 year spent in a managerial and IT/business integration role2-3 full cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3-4 Oracle EBS Applications implementation experience focusing on Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, Product Information Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing related modules2-3 years of hands-on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST and SOAPProven track record in integration tools and technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or any leading integration platform to architect, design and build integrations with Oracle Cloud Applications.Demonstrated use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIMStrong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills, coupled with a strong interest in further developing and integrating enterprise business processes with technology skillsAbility and comfort level researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including emerging technologies, SOA governance, and new technologiesThe successful candidate must also be willing and able to travel 60-80% of a work scheduleIdeally, you’ll also haveDegree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS degree preferred)Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.Excellent communication and leadership skills.A passion for continuous learning and professional growth.What we look forWe seek top performers with a keen eye for detail, a robust work ethic, and the ability to navigate complex environments. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $142,600 to $261,500. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $171,200 to $297,200. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
