Come join us!The RoleWe’re hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead our revenue operations and recognition function. You’ll be our in-house expert on ASC 606, owning everything from contract reviews and billing to revenue recognition, reconciliations, and monthly close. This is a critical leadership role that requires someone who thrives in the details but can also architect scalable systems and processes across the quote-to-cash cycle.You’ll partner closely with Revenue Operations, FP&A, GTM, and external auditors to ensure accuracy, compliance, and transparency in our revenue reporting. The ideal candidate is deeply technical, systems-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.ResponsibilitiesOwn the full revenue accounting process, including contract review, billing operations, revenue recognition (ASC 606), month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting.Lead revenue recognition for a complex SaaS product set—including usage-based billing and multi-element arrangementsDraft and maintain technical accounting memos related to revenue recognition and new product or pricing offeringsCollaborate with RevOps and Sales teams to align on CPQ data, contract terms, pricing models, and billing logicPartner with FP&A on revenue forecasting and key metrics such as bookings, installed revenue, churn, and upsellReconcile revenue-related accounts monthly, including deferred revenue, billed/unbilled balances, and AR sub-ledgersDrive continuous improvement in the quote-to-cash process, including system integrations and automation opportunitiesLiaise with external auditors for all revenue-related audit requests and lead the PBC process for revenueEnsure sales tax accuracy and compliance, and coordinate with vendors such as Avalara or AnrokSupport the evaluation and implementation of new billing tools and revenue modules within NetSuiteWork closely with cross-functional teams to ensure contract data flows accurately through Salesforce, CPQ, billing, and GLLead and mentor a high-performing revenue accounting teamQualifications6+ years of experience in accounting with at least 3+ years specifically focused on SaaS revenue accountingDeep expertise in ASC 606 revenue recognition, including multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, and usage-based revenuePrior experience with Salesforce and CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce Revenue Cloud, DealHub, or Nue)Proficiency in NetSuite ERP and revenue submodules (AR and Suitebilling), with a strong ability to reconcile data across systemsProven ability to own billing, reconciliations, and GL close processes related to revenueTrack record of working with cross-functional teams, including RevOps, Sales, Legal, and EngineeringStrong understanding of quote-to-cash systems and proven experience implementing or optimizing these processesExcellent Excel and analytical skills; comfort navigating large data sets to validate revenue, usage, or billing activityExperience leading revenue audits and preparing supporting documentationKnowledge of U.S. sales tax implications and prior involvement in Avalara or Anrok implementations is a plusCPA or equivalent professional certification preferredWhy Overjet?Competitive Compensation and EquityHybrid workplace that provides flexibility, vibrant in-person workspaces, and the ability to build strong connections across all of Overjet - regardless of location401k plans with a matching programMedical, Dental and Vision coverage: 99% employee premium covered, 75% dependent premium coveredLife and AD+D Insurance8 weeks Paid Parental LeaveOptional HSA with Employer contributionFlexible Time Off and company paid holidaysAnnual Learning and Development StipendWork from Home StipendOur Hybrid WorkplaceWe have a unique hybrid workplace at Overjet — which combines the teamwork of meeting in person, with the flexibility of working from anywhere.Many of our positions are based in San Mateo, New York City, Boston, Salt Lake City, and Lahore.
