Has expertise in WWAN specifications and can design, optimize, and implement software for advanced wireless systems and modems. Works with other functional groups to develop a cost effective, high quality, and high capability air interface and modem that meets industry and customer requirements with high performance (capacity, coverage, throughput, latency, power consumption) and acceptable cost (silicon area, calibration complexity, code size). Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings. Telecommuting may be permitted. When not telecommuting, must report to Qualcomm’s office location(s) in Boulder, CO.QualificationsWill accept a Master/'s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Will also accept a Bachelor/'s Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.
