The role requires a distinguished professional with proven expertise in full-stack engineering, enterprise architecture, and demonstrated success leading large-scale DOD initiatives. This position serves as a technical authority, driving architectural decisions that shape a technological future while ensuring alignment with DOD's cybersecurity objectives.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in Computer Engineering or related technical field with 10+ years of experience, or 15+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degreeExperience working within the SAFe Agile frameworkExpert-level knowledge in DOD cyber operations and/or defense systemsProven ability to lead, influence, and guide enterprise-wide architectural initiatives and technical teams.Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.Deep expertise in NIST frameworks, RMF, and DOD security standarsAn Active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance is required to support this effortDesired QualificationsAdvanced proficiency in secure software development practicesMastery of cloud-native architectures and zero-trust principlesExpert knowledge of DevSecOps practices within classified environmentsFamiliarity with multiple cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).Hands-on expertise with microservices architecture and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible).Strong experience with modern software development languages and frameworks (Python, Java, .NET, React, Angular, Node.js).Experience with the following are also preferred (NoSQL data basing, Gitlab/Github, Kafka, RESTful APIs or OpenAPI/Swagger)About SilverEdgeSilverEdge Government Solutions was founded on the belief that nurturing talent and collaborating closely with our customers enables us to think big and deliver the best for our country.
