OverviewRegional Sales Director, – Chicago, IL. CoStar Group is a leading global provider of commercial and residential real estate information, analytics, and online marketplaces. is an industry-leading rental marketplace serving owners, property managers and consumers, with networks including , , , , and eight other leading rental sites.As an Regional Director, you will be responsible for the development and successful delivery of growth objectives for multifamily marketing and Market Analytics in your region/team. The RD will grow regional revenues by selling new advertising and information subscriptions to new customers, expand existing customer revenues through up/cross selling of CoStar services, and ensure high levels of customer service and renewal rates. You will manage Sales Associates focused on growing new and existing business, driving product usage/adoption, preventing reversals, managing accounts, and delivering outstanding customer service. All new Regional Directors receive extensive classroom and field training to equip you with product and industry knowledge, brand representation, and career success. You will learn digital marketing and sales skills from internal experts, product marketing and product management. ResponsibilitiesAttract, hire, motivate, and develop high-impact salespeople capable of meeting/exceeding sales quotas.Spend 3-4 days per week in the field with the sales team, coaching and training to enhance effectiveness and achieve quotas.Identify, prioritize, and win new client relationships while retaining and growing current clients; develop familiarity with major market accounts.Monitor sales performance and hold salespeople accountable to activity levels and client relationships to meet business targets.Provide active management of weekly activities, including attendance at required meetings and prompt use of Enterprise CRM systems to capture sales activities, pipelines, and account assignments.Establish individual and team performance targets aligned with overall business goals; take necessary actions to resolve performance issues and implement personnel changes as needed.Develop and mentor team members; promote CoStar Group culture and values within the team. QualificationsFive or more years in a front-line sales leadership role, preferably in digital marketing or advertising sales; or equivalent Multifamily industry experience.Three or more years directly managing a team of 5+ employees, including hiring, training and development of a high-performing team.Experience managing a book of business with annual revenue > $1 million; experience in a fast-paced, highly transactional sales environment with short sales cycles.Current and valid driver’s license; satisfactory driving record check prior to start.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent Multifamily/Digital Marketing experience. Preferred QualificationsProven track record of mentoring and coaching sales teams to achieve potential; strong focus on customer service.Experience growing a sales territory through new client acquisition and existing account growth, consistently exceeding targets.Ability to build long-term relationships with clients at all levels; strong internal and external relationship-building skills, including with C-Suite and sales channels.Ability to retain top performers and address non-performers; adaptability in a high-growth environment.
