Join to apply for the Senior Director, Product Management (Streaming) role at CNN.Your New Role…CNN is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and audience-obsessed Senior Director of Product Management, Streaming to lead the product vision, strategy, and execution for our direct-to-consumer (DTC) streaming experience. This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional leadership role responsible for delivering a best-in-class user experience across platforms, with a laser focus on driving engagement, retention, and audience growth.As the product lead for CNN’s streaming product, you will own the end-to-end experience across mobile, web, and Connected TV (CTV), balancing editorial priorities, content strategies, user needs, and business goals. You will partner closely with design, engineering, editorial, data, marketing, and executive stakeholders to bring compelling, habit-forming experiences to life.Your Role Accountabilities…Lead product strategy and roadmap for CNN’s DTC streaming platform, with accountability for engagement and retention KPIs. Must also work across various roadmaps to advocate for streaming prioritization.Champion the voice of the audience, translating user needs into product features and experiences that inform, entertain, and build loyalty.Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery to iteration, across multiple surfaces including mobile apps, web, and CTV.Partner with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features on time and at scale.Work closely with editorial, growth, data, and marketing teams to ensure content, UX, and merchandising decisions support audience goals.Drive cross-functional collaboration, fostering strong partnerships with executive stakeholders and functional leads to maintain a unified strategic vision. Define and monitor product success metrics, regularly reporting out progress and learnings to leadership.Lead and mentor a small but high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of clarity, impact, and innovation.Your Qualifications & Experience…10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record in consumer digital products—ideally streaming, media, or content-rich platforms.Deep understanding of the streaming product landscape, including platform UX, content strategy, personalization, and viewer behavior.Proven ability to lead in matrixed, cross-functional environments with senior stakeholders.Strong strategic thinking, product intuition, and decision-making grounded in audience insights and data.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to distill complexity into clarity for both technical and non-technical audiences.Experience with product analytics, A/B testing, and iterative optimization to drive engagement and fortable in a fast-paced environment where curiosity, experimentation, and urgency are highly valued.Passion for journalism, news, and CNN’s mission to inform and empower audiences around the world.How We Get Things Done…Our guiding principles are the core values by which we operate and are central to how we get things done.
