Wears all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) per company policies or contractor requirements. Reports all incidents and accidents regardless of severity to supervisor immediately. Understands that he/she has stop-work authority if work cannot or is not being done safely. Be aware that all incidents and accidents can be prevented with proper job planning and hazard recognition (JSA). Develops a strategic plan to advance the companys mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as an organization. Assists company executives and department managers in the development and formulation of long and short-range planning, policies, programs and objectives. Works with direct reports to create clear personal development plans and conducts semi-annual performance evaluations. Leads the organization in maintaining a continuously refreshed view of a safety-culture mindset and behaviors, and overall personal accountability. Oversees the manufacturing and fabrication plans and monitors procedures for maintaining high standards of fabrication operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards. Oversees company operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effective management of resources. Leads and develops a mature team to execute the operational and financial plans, including department managers as well as staff to support the company.Leads company-wide initiatives to ensure positive morale, sense of urgency, and high performance. Leads continuous improvement efforts - focused on cost reduction, capacity improvements, quality etc. Uses continuous improvement to develop an empowered and capable workforce. Reviews activity reports and financial statements regularly to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revises objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Coordinates review of plant processes (between engineering and plant management) and ensures process modifications or improvements that result in improved efficiency are implemented. Works with division heads to deliver plant efficiency improvements. Leads organizational and cultural mindset of predictive/preventative maintenance to limit unplanned downtime and optimize overall output. Participates in the development of new project proposals. Promotes positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors. Promotes the company to local and regional constituencies, as appropriate. Represents the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company. Works closely with the Board leadership to establish, develop and accomplish business goals and strategic plans. Directly manages 4-7 division head and directors who supervise a total of 150 plus employees and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the companys policies and applicable laws. Be knowledgeable of finance, safety, and motivating employees. Apply engineering principles, practices, and technologies. Be responsible for strategic planning and execution, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.ResponsibilitiesLead the organization in safety culture and accountability; ensure compliance with safety policies and PPE requirements.Develop and execute strategic plans to promote revenue, profitability, and growth; assist executives in long- and short-range planning.Manage and develop leadership across the organization; conduct semi-annual performance evaluations.Oversee manufacturing and fabrication operations to meet quality standards and customer requirements.Optimize production efficiency, service, and resource management; supervise 150+ employees through division heads and directors.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, increase capacity, and improve quality.Implement predictive/preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime.Review financial reports and adjust objectives and plans as needed; coordinate process improvements with engineering and plant management.Develop and pursue new project proposals and maintain positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.Represent the company in community and business settings and collaborate with the Board to achieve strategic goals.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Ten years of experience in manufacturing management in a process-oriented operation.Five years of experience managing a large segment of a large manufacturer, or the entire operation of a small manufacturer; experience setting up operations for new product lines; experience working with ASME and API codes.TravelUp to 5% domestic travel required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
