OverviewWorkplace Experience Manager - Hoboken, NJ. As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will supervise employees who deliver workplace experience services, including Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office duties. The team provides world-class customer service to clients and visitors of a designated building.What You’ll DoProvide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.Coordinate and manage the team/'s daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.Build and maintain trusted client relationships. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.Ensure the team/'s support is efficient and consistent. Suggest process improvements and assist with developing strategic solutions.Assess technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.Develop vendor partnerships for cost savings. Manage negotiations for contract services. Ensure vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation.Oversee programs run by third-party vendors (e.g., food delivery, events, transportation, mail distribution). Ensure all invoices for business services are billed.Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE/'s values. Influence stakeholders to reach agreements.Apply knowledge of your discipline and cross-disciplinary integration to achieve team and department objectives.Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues in existing systems and processes.Qualifications / What You’ll NeedBachelor/'s Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.Ability to convey performance expectations and handle difficult information; leadership to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.Strong Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Excellent organizational skills and a proactive, inquisitive mindset.Other RequirementsHS Diploma or GED required; bachelor/'s degree or relevant vocational training preferred.Minimum of 8+ years of related experience, with 3+ years in management/supervisory roles (e.g., Front of House Manager, Lead Concierge, Hospitality, Events).Strong supervisory and customer service experience is highly preferred.Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex business documents and to write reports and present information clearly.Ability to work flexible schedules based on office needs. Comfortable meeting and engaging with new people. Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, urgent approach to issues.Financial acumen: ability to conduct financial/business analysis, forecast budgets, and use Microsoft Office for related tasks.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with new technologies and digital tools.Safety & ScopeScope of Responsibility: Decisions rely on in-depth understanding of procedures and policies. Responsible for department deadlines. Errors may impact coworkers and department outcomes.Safety: Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others affected by your work. This includes completing required HSE training, following safety policies, participating in HSE programs, reporting unsafe conditions, and supporting stop-work authority where pensationCBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation. The salary range for the Workplace Experience Senior Manager position is generally around $100,000 to $112,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses based on CBRE/'s benefit programs.
