We are committed to excellence in everything we do.We have an opening for a Chief Operating Officer and the position is responsible for assisting the CEO with the strategic planning and directing of the Bank activities, short and long term profitability and planned growth. Represents the bank to regulatory agencies, other financial organizations, and trade associations. Plans and directs cost effective solutions to business issues, implements service strategies to support business needs, while ensuring that established policies and procedures are followed, quality of service to customers is provided, and profitability of business is maintained.Primarily Responsible For The Following Areas Of The BankDomestic Retail Branch Banking Network, including day-to-day branch operations and staff requisition and developmentCentralized Operations, including data processing, item processing, bookkeeping, customer service, call center, payments, wires, and researchMarketing the Bank’s products and Business Development.eBanking Product and Services — including Online Banking, Mobile Banking, ACH, Cash Management, Merchant Remote DepositEstablish Fintech relationships.Oversight of foreign branch.Bank wide FacilitiesEssential DutiesDemonstrates quality customer service principles with internal and external customers.Develops and implements programs that will assist in meeting short- and long-term goals, objectives and priorities for branch operations.Oversees all aspects of the Bank’s business banking systems, and conducts periodic reviews of existing systems and procedures to ensure quality customer service, maximum operating efficiency, effectiveness and economy.Evaluates, plans and directs cost effective solutions to Bank’s service strategies to support business and user needs. Researches, reviews, develops and recommends systems and procedural changes to enhance service to customers and increase efficiency.Serves as a member of the Bank’s senior management team and participates significantly in developing overall policies, programs, objectives and goals. Attends Bank’s Board of Directors meetings.Attends internal committee meetings regularly to ensure bank wide strategies are communicated and executed in a effective manner.Develop and implement the Bank’s products promotions and Business Development strategies.Coaches and develops direct reports, and evaluates productivity levels and performance standards.Maintains current knowledge of and complies with applicable banking laws, regulations, internal policies and procedures. Creates an environment in which managers are held accountable for the same.Conduct monthly meeting with all Branch Managers.RequirementsRequires Bachelors degree in Business or related field.Minimum 10 years increasingly responsible experience in branch administration, central processing.Minimum 10 years previous management experience in a financial institution.Ability to relate to and communicate effectively with the CEO, professionals leaders, press, and all levels of Bank associates to promote Bank’s growth and profitability.Ability to use knowledge, experience, discretion and independent judgment in solving problems and in making sound decisions.Proficient understanding of domestic and international banking.Requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude.Ability to successfully manage broad functions of a bank.Ability to effectively lead, manage, develop and direct.Excellent written communication skills, and the ability to clearly and concisely express analytical conclusions and recommended actions with tact and diplomacy.Bilingual in Chinese is a plusThe candidate will be subject to investigation through credit checks, reference checks, background checks and fingerprinting checks performed at the time permissible under relevant law.Email resume to: our website at: for additional information.Bank of the Orient is proud to be an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
