We're committed to blending cutting-edge technology, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency to significantly improve patient outcomes and reshape the healthcare landscape.Role OverviewWe’re seeking a General Counsel who will own all legal, regulatory, and compliance matters across our business. You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, helping us manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, support strategic deals, and build legal infrastructure as we grow. As a member of the leadership, you will also help to embody and perpetuate Chamber’s values and culture.Key ResponsibilitiesCorporate & CommercialAdvise on corporate governance, fundraising, and equity matters (e.g., SAFEs, cap table management, investor rights)Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on contracts with potential payers, vendor agreements, NDAs, partnership deals, and MSAsSupport go-to-market and fundraising efforts with legal input on sales, payer, and provider agreementsRegulatory & ComplianceEnsure compliance with healthcare laws including HIPAA, Stark, Anti-Kickback, and applicable CMS rulesDevelop policies, training, and internal controls for HIPAA/privacy and security complianceWork closely with product, engineering, and other functions to ensure legal requirements are integrated into tech workflowsAlign with our People/HR leader to ensure compliance with our employee onboarding and offboarding cadencesHealthcare & Clinical RiskAdvise on legal risks associated with clinical operations, telehealth delivery, licensure, and scope of practiceMonitor evolving federal and state healthcare regulations that may impact our business modelCollaborate with medical leadership to support risk management and quality assurance frameworksStrategic & Operational SupportServe as legal partner for strategic initiatives such as M&A, value-based care models, or new product launchesWork cross-functionally with People, Clinical Finance, Ops. and Product teams to provide practical legal guidanceManage external counsel relationships and budget when neededJob RequirementsJ.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law8–12+ years of legal experience, ideally with a mix of top law firm and in-house rolesBackground executing and navigating payer and healthcare provider contractsDeep knowledge of key regulatory frameworks: HIPAA, AKS, Stark, CMS programs, managed care rulesExperience supporting startups or high-growth companies, especially in digital health or healthtechBusiness-minded, composed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environmentExcellent communicator and highly personable with strong judgment high integrityWhy Join Chamber?Make a tangible, positive impact on the future of healthcare and patient outcomesWork with an extraordinary team of healthcare visionaries, clinical innovators, and technology leadersThrive in an environment that values bold ideas, strategic collaboration, and operational excellenceContribute to building one of the highest-quality startups in all of value-based careOur ValuesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and our employees are people with different strengths, experiences and backgrounds, who share a passion for improving people's lives.
