OverviewSenior People Business Partner role at Airwallex. Be the lead People Partner in the Americas, working with department leaders across Canada, Brazil, Mexico and the US. This role is based in San Francisco.Airwallex is the only unified payments and financial platform for global businesses, empowering over 150,000 businesses worldwide with integrated solutions for accounts, payments, spend management, treasury, and embedded finance.What You’ll DoBe the lead People Partner in the Americas and partner with multiple department leaders to provide expert guidance and data-driven insights that help people leaders achieve growth objectives and maintain a high-performance, engaged culture. Build effective relationships across the organization to drive new initiatives and address blockers, advocating improvements at local and global levels.ResponsibilitiesPartner with and coach managers to build high performing and engaged teams, including reviewing employee engagement data and enabling action plansProvide coaching on leadership development, workforce planning, policy and procedure, employee engagement, performance management, and career developmentIdentify, report, investigate, and resolve employee relations issuesMaintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management; reduce risk and escalate issues as neededCollaborate with the global People Team to align on people philosophy and programs, localizing programs as neededParticipate in performance reviews and help identify and develop talent across the organizationSupport teams through organizational transitions, helping leaders manage change while minimizing disruptionWho You AreMinimum qualifications are required; preferred qualifications are advantageous but not mandatory.Minimum Qualifications5 years of HRBP experience, including knowledge of regional employment laws and best practicesProven success partnering with leaders to build and improve company culture and employee engagementDiscretion and sound judgment with sensitive and confidential informationVery strong emotional intelligence, with excellent problem-solving skillsComfort working with cloud tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Suite, Confluence, and BambooHRPreferred QualificationsExperience in a fast-growth or startup environmentExperience proposing solutions across diverse stakeholders with determinationResilient and adaptable to organizational culture in a dynamic environmentEqual OpportunityAirwallex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
