Arcadia runs in the web browser and offers flexibility in licensing, systems integration, and supply chain collaboration.Who we are looking forRe:Build Cadonix is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a key role in designing, building, and scaling innovative new cloud-enabled products in the wire harness design and manufacturing space.What you get to doLead the design and architecture of a cloud-centric software + hardware product, ensuring high-performance for a multi-tenant application with real-time interactions between cloud components and hardware in customer locations.Facilitate design reviews, failure mode analyses, and trade-off analyses to select architectures and configurations that result in high product availability and reliability.Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement, including in system design, validation, and documentation.Drive agile processes by contributing to sprint planning, retrospectives, and team-wide planning initiatives.Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and applications engineers to define requirements and deliver solutions.What you bring to the TeamBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, plus related work experience.7+ years of professional experience in software development.Proficiency in designing and implementing distributed systems and cloud-connected applications in AWS.Experience in Python, web frameworks (FastAPI, Nuxt), and distributed task management (Celery).Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.History of mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.Preferred SkillsExperience with high-availability systems that combine hardware and software components (e.g., IoT, embedded systems, or edge computing), experience with MQTT.Demonstrated experience with agile development methodologies and CI/CD practices.Experience deploying multi-tenant applications in AWS.Experience working with international teams across multiple timezones.Location: Position based in Framingham, MAWork Week: Hybrid 3 days in / 2 days remoteThe BIG payoffWe are a company that aims to make a difference in the industries and communities we operate in.
